Super slim, perhaps too thin for impact protection
Great for what it is ... a sleek ultra-thin sleeve. It looks good and feels good in the hand and should prevent scratches on the body. I can't imagine it would provide very much impact protection, though. It's so thin. So I replaced it with a more sturdy and bulky case.

My traveling companion
The EOS M with 22mm lens combo became my favorite camera over the course of the last year, so I picked up one of the virtually identical M2s on eBay with a 22mm lens for not a lot of money. I like it as much as the M.
These are small and light but feel substantial in the hand, with a mostly metal exterior.
Image quality is superb, especially when shooting RAW and processing with Canon’s DPP software (included in the box or download for free).
If you are familiar with the menu system on Canon cameras, this will make immediate sense, though the controls are a bit different from the DSLR layout.
As the saying goes, the best camera is the one you’ll take with you and use, and this is it … 8 or 10 ounces and only a few inches on any side, it’s easy to forget you are carrying it.
Drawbacks:
1) There’s only one focal length. 24 mm is the perfect angle for what I like to shoot, so 22 is just about right for me. But you’ll miss the superwide or tele shots. Sometimes I’ll carry the EF-M 18-55mm zoom designed for this camera, but it isn’t as sharp as the 22mm and is a lot bulkier.
2) A lot of people have criticized the focusing speed of the EOS M series. I don’t have a problem with it. Then again, I don’t usually shoot fast moving objects.
3) Battery life is short. I carry two spares if I’m on an all-day tour, one spare the rest of the time.
None of these drawbacks matter to me. So the EOS M/M2 is my favorite camera. It’s not my best, the 70D with the tilt screen and bag of lenses and big tripod is a little better, but the M/M2 is easier to carry and fun to use, and winds up coming with me more places than the 70D.

Works well
Does the job at a good price. The original cord stopped working, rendering the hard drive useless. This put it back in business.
