Happy Memories - How it was.

I lived in Stanmore 1952-1969, and before that in Mill Hill, going to school from Stanmore to North Watford 1952-1955. I saw green line and local routes in the Watford region and the workings from Amersham. Serious bus spotting started c1953 and my cycle took me out to St Albans, Uxbridge, and to High Wycombe. When Green rovers started they were a boon, so one explored more. This book brings back happy memories, and answer long held queries, and the photographs are great. Still working through the book as time permits. Yes, most interesting.

UNUSUAL PIPE ORGAN BOOK

This books looks interesting but I wish a summary of each chapter could have been in English then the sales potential could be greatly increased. Many non-english area books do have the text section in more than one language and- for better or worse - English is the international language for tourism and travel. I would welcome seeing more area books from this Nation, but with that one improvement. I purchase two - one for my own collection and the other for a American Archives operated by the Organ Historical Society of the USA who have the worlds greatest collection of books on the pipe organ
