A higher price to pay, but one of JM's best recordings.

Obviously, one of the more rare John Martyn recordings and that reflects in the price. But this is a slightly different JM leaning more towards the chill out generation. I was happy to pay the £27 odd price bearing in mind Amazon was quoting £80. The production quality is fantastic as this has more synth, samples and subtle break beats, rather than John's usual (and brilliant) detuned guitar approach. This will add yet more perspective to the listeners understanding to his talent and i have no problem in thoroughly recommending it. Take the price on the chin and enjoy. And don't settle for a download site in MP3 format for a fraction of the price. It'll be a fraction of the appreciation. Keep the JM faith. One day everyone will get him. Cheers!

Why don't I recommend it?

Why don't I recommend it?.... because it's not true analog. Its a digital circuit. And so to second what another review has stated - this is no good for feedback loops off your mixer. Good value for what it does, but i don't recommend it because they push it as analog and its not.
