Ok movie if you want to complete your Indiana Jones collection
So I got this movie as a request for my son who is almost 13. I had recently purchased the trilogy of the 3 original Indiana Jones movies that I grew up with and mainly watched the first two over and over again when I was growing up. My husband and I saw this one when it came out in the theaters and it was kind of ho-hum. There are many other action movies that are a lot worse and many that are a lot better. Overall I think it is worth watching but doesn't have the magic of the first two films. MILD SPOILER ALERT TIME: I think they actually wrote it simply just to bring back Indie and his chemistry with the love interest from the first film and a flimsy plot including them and once again Nazi's was thrown together. However I have to say the parts with the ants and the waterfalls are pretty cool and both my kids love that section of the film. If you are a true Indiana Jones fan then get it to add to the collection. If you only like the first one and hated the second then don't even bother as this one won't do it for you either. Many people probably don't even know of the third one with River Pheonix but he was a huge heart throb when I was younger so of course I remember that film and like it but honestly the first two are the most interesting and nostalgic for me.
