Broken? Could just be a loose screw!
After reading other reviews, I was afraid it wouldn't stand up. I used it to make my first minky baby quilt. Had issues at the corner seems where it was most bulky. Foot did seem to fall apart, but I was able to get it back together. The second time it "fell apart", I realized the screw was loose on the front part of the plastic casing. Very easy fix! Good value for the price.
