Oullander by Diana Gabaldon
1 of 1 found this helpful I love historical stories. This one is many layered and exciting. Fell in love with lead Claire Randall and her marriage delimma! What would be right to do for all concerned?
First time ever with this author. Not normally a fan of time/travel novels but this one was unusually good. So good in fact that I went back to ebay and bought the rest of the series. Loved the characters, plot, action. I am looking forward to reading more of her works. I strongly recommend this story, especially if you like Scotland, historicals and;or myths.

Drums of Autumn by Duaba Gabaldon
What I liked most is the writing and intermingling of characters in this work. It is highly researched and very well wirtten. I did't fee lost trying to keep tract of large numbers of characters. I have a deep love of historical events and times and the novel (and ther entire series) is among the very best done. Rich historical events, use of factual articles of the times, and suspense. If anyone is looking for great reading try this series, I haven't been let down once. Do not decline because of the length, just that much more good story!!
