Still a great bread guide
1 of 1 found this helpful I owned one of these years ago and misplaced it. I'd been searching for one for the past 6 months so when I saw this being sold, I grabbed it and am happy to have the slicing guide back in my kitchen. The guides offer different thickness of slices. It fits a loaf that comes from a bread making machine. It is solidly built and stable on the counter. I will usually bake my bread in the oven - if there is too large of a crown on the bread, it may not fit in the slicer (too wide), but that isn't really an issue very often.
I did purchase a foldable wood slicing guide before I found this one and I highly recommend the Presto over the wood type. The Presto is much more solid and easy to use.
