A "guide" to Krav Maga..
This book is full of combat situations and it explains how to deal with an attacker in the most efficient way. I think many of the situations are too specific though. It is also somewhat unstrucured and actually a bit incomplete. I am currently learning Krav Maga at a local club, and think that the most natural way to write the book is to start with the basic techniques like punches, kicks, blocks, deflections, stances and body defences. These are covered in no more than seven pages at the end of the book. The book says nothing about the curriculum for the various degrees in the system, and I find that a bit annoying. However, I bought it at a relatively cheap price, and it does have some value.
The book will give you an idea of Krav Magas basic ideas, and numerous examples of how to defend yourself, but it's not based on the curriculum-system of the IKMF.
