Cartoon Character of my Mom's era (pre-WW II)
Hearing my mother speak of this character, I was excited to finally get a look at what she spoke of often. It is decidedly unfunny stuff of depression era humor. Gives a good perspective of mood of country at that time. Interesting glimpse of that time.

Evaluating Stress: A Book of Resources Volume 2
This book has a very detailed, well referenced discussion in each chapter of a measurement scale to assess stress. There are 17 scales presented in total. What it DOES NOT contain, however, are the actual stress scales themselves. For that, the reader would either need to contact the author of the original research that validated the scale or search other sources for them.

Wonderful Depiction of Difficult Life Choices
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a wonderfully casted movie, realistically set in the Reno of the 1950's. On its surface, it is a movie about a woman struggling to come to terms with feelings that were VERY taboo at that time in America. But, when viewed further, it depicts how difficult it is for any of us to see ourselves while learning in fits and starts to embrace what you see. I love the discussions that this movie can start. BUY IT!
