Very good heavy duty juicer that will last for years.
First I was going to buy a centrifugal juicer but after reading reviews found this type of juicers. I preferred it because we have a baby and this type of juicer is not as loud as a conventional juicers. I also liked the idea of squeezing a juice instead of chopping the fruit down to submolecular pieces.
Pros:
- Easy to use and clean.
- Silent as a ninja comparing to contrifugal juicers.
- Allows pulp to be resqueezed if you want so.
- Heavy base and auger, looks like guys have used a real heavy duty metal parts, not a one-time-use plastic. No wonder they provide a crazy long warranty.
- Good juice quality.
Cons:
- Not cheap.
- Really long strings (e.g. sorrel) may wind around the auger.
I see guys blaming customer service. I never tried to use it, but this info may be helpful. While researching I found that this juicer is manufactured by KUM AH APPLIANCE CO. LTD from Korea. It is sold under Hurom, Omega, Oscar and Moulinex brands. All internal parts are interchangeable so you can use either service. There was a site where all parts can be purchased separately but at the moment I can not find a link.
