11th Hour and the wonders of DosBox
1 of 1 found this helpful This game builds on some of the strengths of its predecessor, the 7th Guest, but it suffers from a surplus of puzzles that are difficult because they are long and tedious or luck-based instead of innovative.
The story is more fleshed out than the original and the acting is as full of B movie awesomeness as ever.
If you want to get this running on a modern machine, just get DosBox, it's a Free Open Source program that emulates a DOS system and allows you to run pretty much any DOS game made. I'm running this game more or less successfully on a Ubuntu machine.
