Oldie but goodie! The Z-5300 still shakes the rafters!
1 of 1 found this helpful I know the speakers are less than recent, but man are they keepers. With the volume on nearly zero, family heard the bass downstairs! The "matrix" option put the sound into all 5 speakers from my mp3 player. The sub is fairly large and dense, the speakers are built with precision and have enough cord length for the office and dorm. It doesn't have the cable distance for a spread out, home theatre system, but the speakers themselves are certainly THX surround sound. The control pod is great, giving you the control of an amplifier at your fingertips. Volume, Sub vol, Fade, and center, are all on the main knob. I consider these speakers and the Z-5500's to be of the golden age of Logitech. It was difficult to find a brand new set, but it's certainly worth it.
