It is compact and easy to use.
I bought this product to use it for my thoughts on writing. I like the compact size of the recorder. The tape either drags a little or is old. The voice is loud enough at first but then begins to become almost to soft to hear it.
I don't know about comparing this product from another because this is the first recorder that I have bought.
