It's Perfect for a motherboard replacement since i gave life back to my dad's elitebook
This model the HP elitebook 8440p comes (or used to come) with an Intel HD 3000 on the old motherboard - the New one we got only came with the Nvidia nvs 3100m which is perfect since i think of the cause of the old one to die was the Intel HD 3000 - sadly the Old motherboard Really died due to general board failure indicated by leds flashing and what not(was a tiny bit hard to figure out) - BUT this new one brought it back to good use - and yes it performs well under heavy load -
the funny thing is we got it the same day it died ..i guess that's just bad luck since i had 1 other laptop die a day ago before the elitebook -
