The design fault is: It does not cut cleanly through eg. Celery stick or Cucumber. It cuts within a mm or two of the back leaving a
strip of the product still within the machine which one has to remove by hand. If it were cucumber and you wanted a strip of skin removed, it would be ideal as with if you wanted a section of the celery string removed.
