Can you fight cable company prices by buying refurbished modems?

I believe so. The need for lower prices is huge, mostly because cable companies keep slightly upgrading. The result is a box full of top-grade, useless modems. The Ubee DOCSIS 3.0 solved my problem with cable and seems to work very well. Keep up the good work in northern Illinois, guys. Regards,
