ac guages
1 of 2 found this helpful This tool paid for itself and helped me diagnose my ac problem. There's lot's of videos and articles on the net too to help you understand how to use it. Turned out mine only needed a seal kit. I broke the high and low pressure switches while trying to test them with a small screwdriver, so I would test them using a voltmeter and this guage next time.

Does not work
It said it works with Android phones, but after trying to get it to work for over an hour, I found out Samsung Core Prime phones don't allow external devices to communicate through the micro USB port. Buyer be ware!

Good'nuff
I bought this because Starrett was about $500 more. The tool arrive by priority mail in three days. Finish was ok but had minor scratches on the .2" edge. It did not say what the accuracy was in the ebay description so I messaged seller. They sent me manufacturer specs that called out 0.002" for flatness on 24" straight edge. I did not check flatness because you need a granite inspection table, but I did check parellel runout. It was within the spec listed. I'm using it for inspecting cylender heads so it needs to be accurate. I like that it comes with a protective sleeve and a black vynal case. If you need something more accurate, I would take this to a machine shop and have it inspected/trued or pay over $500 for a Starrett which is only 0.001" off at 24".
