    Cheaper than the GP
I'm a real cynic being a librarian for a living you are taught to question things. I'd say I was surprised by some of the ideas in this book but they made a lot of sense to me and I have tried to take on some of the recommendations made. I can't live my life like this guru but I have tried to put in place the things I can from his work. For example the liver and kidney cleanse he advocates. He states that good health starts from the digestive system and actually that makes a lot of sense, the quality of food is the only thing we can control going into our bodies. This is a very long book, I got the pdf and printed a chapter as I needed it there is alot to get your head around. If you want to be healthy and not be at the mercy of your GP or consultant then get this book it really was money well spent. I have already tried the liver and gallbladder cleanse and plan to keep on doing them as he recommends.

If only I'd read this 20 years ago.
This is a great book. I bought it as I have various health conditions and I'm sick of taking prescription drugs which only suppress the symptoms, I want them gone. I have already done one cleanse and plan to do at least 9 more as recommended. I was really apprehensive about doing the cleanse but wow, I'm looking forward to my next one. The book is very informative, practical and full of common sense, I now look at my GP and the medical profession with fresh eyes. I can't recommend the liver cleanse enough it may seem like a lot of effort but it really isn't. I used the apple cider vinegar as I didn't want to gulp loads of apple juice, very easy to fit into my day. You can buy edible Epsom salts at Boots much cheaper than any price on the internet. The hardest thing was not eating from 1330 the day of the flush I should have eaten more but really really worth it. I'm not a hippy type either, I keep chickens and kill them for meat. Licious.
