Best International Recipes 2007
Another great cookbook from the kitchens of Cooks Illustrated. I really like their cookbooks because they have already tried out the recipes and variations and present the best versions. They also tell you why they choose a version over the other, and also the ingredient choices. This is a great help and can carry over into some of your own recipes. There were a couple of duplicate recipes with their The New Best Recipes cookbook. The biggest drawback to their cookbooks is getting through all the new recipes without putting on too much weight!

Barbecue Bible Sauces, Rubs, & Marinades, Bastes,...
Enough variety to keep even the most jaded barbecue appetite salivating. I like being able to choose from subtle enhancements to heavier flavors. The international recipes blend nicely with the regional recipes. Nice format, good explanations on history and ingredients, and great results.
