Later day JGB at its best!!
1 of 1 found this helpful This version of the Jerry Garcia Band is the most poignant version being it's his last. There is a fine quality to all songs performed and the energy is high indeed. All I can say is.......Get this recording!!!

Peak Period 4 The Grateful Dead
1 of 1 found this helpful Imo, one cannot go wrong with most Grateful Dead shows from 1972 thru 1974. These three shows are from that exact era, the Wall of Sound phase. All of these shows are fantastic and each one gets better from the other. The musical telepathy between all five musicians is at an all-time high! (pardon the pun) All I can say is that this is a "must have" boxset, can't go wrong...

Bicentennial Dead
On this particular Dick's picks you get two 1976 Dead shows for the price of one, good value for sure. The 9/25 show is one the top shows of the year. The band is just starting to get their groove back from the hiatus. This show actually sounds like a 1977 show. Get this release.
