Storey's Illustrated Guide to Poultry Breeds by Carol E
3 of 3 found this helpful Excellent book for the chicken fancier who wants to learn more about all of the unusual and exotic varieties. I'd say it covers more chickens than it does ducks, peafowl, etc. Very nice photos and loads of information. My son is a chicken fancier and loved it.
Very pleased with the book. Storey's is usually a good source for any information you're looking for.

A World Within A World * - Midon, Raul (CD)
Blah, sort of a repetitive sound. Nothing like Billy Ocean as the listing description implied. Doubt I'll listen to it again.

Absolutely Fantastic Read - Textiles Galore!
One of the most incredible books! The photos are beautiful. The text is the best I've come across. The book not only explains the different clothing and weavings, but gives such insight on the people wearing them and making them. It's a must have for anyone who is into weaving and the Peruvian culture. Stories, songs, the looms, the dyes, the processes, everything from shearing the llama, alpaca or sheep to the finished product. Nilda Callanaupa Alvarez is a marvel!
