Treasure of Tarmin
The graphics and sound, of course, are outdated 8-bit, but game play is what makes a game FUN! The start of the game has a random multi-dungeon level generator, so the start of each new game is never the same twice. That is a pleasure so that you don't have a "been there done that" feeling. At level 4 (the toughest level), you die. Frequently. There are more than enough things out there to end your adventure, so you can't just walk around with the Marine Corps syndrome "I am the baddest thing there is." No, you aren't! So, you carefully tiptoe around, peek around corners, size up your opponents, and carry a gift to toss to the opponent in case it is kicking your butt. And be careful about doors that suddenly light up in front of you! This game has much re-playability, and is a genuine challenge. Old 1980s graphics notwithstanding, be prepared to do the victory dance if you win!
