Classic tale that makes no sense
Tristan is a interesting story although includes not one ounce of realistic matter. You find yourself asking "why would he do this?", "why didn't she do that?", and "what on Earth is going on now"? Then you get to the end where there is no happiness to be found (don't worry that's not a spoiler, if you read the book you'll know the outcome because it tells you on the first page). It is a classic, German tale-of-woe, filled with superlatives, and wonder!

Skin-tillating
It is little known that Roald Dahl is a saucy writer of poignant adult stories because he is normally associated with his childrens' literature. You will be surprised by the content and entertained by the scenarios he creates. A wonderful book for a plane ride, vacation, or bathroom read, you will laugh out loud, cringe, and beg for more!
