Great phone set for the price
1 of 4 found this helpful These are great fully featured phones. Use them as intercoms, room monitors, speakerphones, and regular handsets. Great range. Only problem is they can sound tinny and feedback when on speakerphone or when the handset volume is turned up all the way. Easy way to put a phone where there is no jack, I had one in the garage, basement, and kitchen. Would still be using them but I have gone cell phone only. Base unit will support up to 4 phones also. Does have a phone finder contrary to what the other review says, use the other handset to locate it, not the base.

Good buy for Money, Clumsy side buttons.
11 of 13 found this helpful I bought the creative Nomad Zen Xtra because it was half the price of an ipod. Works perfectly fine and sounds great. It is slightly larger than an ipod. The navigation throught he menu is harder than an ipod because all the buttons are on the side. I use mine primarily in the car and all the car holders grab the player from the side and on this one it messes with the buttons. I have resigned to just keeping it in the cup holder and picking it up to adjust it. Works with windows media player also has its own software but I didn't use it except for drivers. With 40 gigs It can fit over 10,000 songs on it. If you have your heart set on an ipod, this probably won't cut it for you, but if your looking for a cheap mp3 player with lots of space and can deal with the buttons on the side by all means do it.
