A Little Disappointing
Bought the book as part of the Library of Contemporary Thought. I was disappointed with the more narrative, here's-what-happened-to-me, since it did not seem a major component of contemporary thought. This book was about her own experience in learning to love reading, but did little to compel attention to the wealth of good things in a life of reading. Personal experience is a pop reason, but not a very logical or objective view of the values in reading by design the excellent works. There are some interesting lists of unstated origin other than the author's preferences, which were of interest.
