Effective
There are chickens on a plot of land near our property, I wouldn't say there is an infestation but we get regular visits. I tried the old fashion spring traps and a couple of battery powered electronic traps and ended up with nothing other than sore fingers and flat batteries. I bought one of these Big Cheese jobs and have trapped a rat every night, in fact I've bought a second one to try and keep up. Easy to set and bait with a dob of peanut butter and Nutella on the plate. Nice heavy gauge, galvanised mesh makes it easy to clean by pouring boiling water on to the plate and it's ready for the next catch. The top is completely covered which keeps the rain off the bait and makes a safe barrier between the angry rat and the carry handle.

Compliments existing door furniture.
Cut from brass sheet and not brass plated. Thin enough to be let into the door if required and doesn't look unsightly if simply screwed to the surface. A nice compliment to other brass door furniture and gives an architectural appearance. Can't go wrong for the price.

A great accessory for videograhpy
We bought this outfit for producing photography instruction videos for our website and YouTube. The microphone is crystal clear with interference free reception out to 30 mtrs. The headphone monitor on the receiver is especially useful when the camera operator is out of hearing range of the presenter. Wind noise was an issue in strong wind but easily resolved with a small dead cat. If you are taking these abroad I would strongly advise that they are in your hand luggage and not hold luggage. They look remarkably like explosive devices on an x-ray as we found out Gatwick security.
