Gigabyte - good brand, G31 - good chipset
I like Gigabyte motehrboards more then Asus, Asrock etc,
only Intel is the same for me but less flexible and more expensive.
This motherboard has plenty of everyhing like others, tuning and overclocking utility, what can I say, the board is very good for everyday needs.

6600GT often needs its noisy fan tweakng or replacement
Good board but cannot be used as it is with the stock cooler,
it always works at full speed making flying jet taking off noise, like item I bought.
Either need replacement with a low noise cooler like Arctic Cooling Silencer - 5 rev 3 or similar (above 10 pound), or can be handled with vga fan tweaking tool, as I did.
I used Expert tool by Gainward, reduced the fan speed to 50% and the board became silent.

reliable board from Intel, needs CPU selection
The board is reliable as usual for Intel boards, and quite fast,
use older DDR memory, not DDR2, but I do not care.
Does not work with most of the Pentium CPUs, but ther a variety to choise still remains, from 3+ GHz Pentium down to 2Ghz Celeron, see Intel processorfinder cite for the list.
