    Gunsmithing at Home,Lock,Stock and Barrel
What's not too love? This book, written in plain, understandable English (my favorite language)is a hit and has a prominent place in my library of Guns and other self defense type books. I find it chock full of great tips and direction. I'm restarting my long lost hobby of Gunsmithing that I did alot of during my 24 years in the US Army and this book will be very valuable. I liken myself to the author,John Traister in that he was self taught as I. A great book for the novice as well as those that need to refresh those old "hands on" skills. I'm in the process of putting my work bench back together and cleaning off the dust and rust from all of my tools. Can't wait for my friends to start bringing me their weapons for me to clean, repair, restore, modify or customize. Two thumbs up to John E. Traister!!!! Well done!!!

    Gunsmithing by Patrick Sweeney
I've just resurrected an old flame of mine and the "Flame" is my love of self protection devices. Guns!!! I'm close to retiring and still want to be active so, I'm returning to Gunsmithing. I'm not some doddering old man and I'm still very good at making and/or repairing "Things" with my own two hands so I'm already putting together my "Old" work bench. This book is very informative and a good basic guide to help me sharpen some of my old skills. It is an exceptionally well written book for the novice and especially to me because it will teach me some of the basics that I'd long ago forgotten during my 24 years in the US Army. I look forward to referring to it often as I restart my Hobby of Gunsmithing. Three hats off to Pat Sweeney. Thanks, Sarge
