A superb film on a great subject.
A terrific film about a great subject; the taking of a photograph of 57 of the most prominent jazz musicians alive in New York in 1958. Fortunately, many of the principals involved were still alive to contribute engaging interviews of their memories of the event. No wonder it won the 1995 Oscar for best documentary. The special features profile each participant in detail, it's a jazz lover's dream.
