Quality product, good usability, nice price.
2 of 2 found this helpful I was pleasantly suprised by the build quality of this product, it's all metal and aside from the feet cups and a few teflon washers/knobs there is no plastic on this product. Even the ball head is machined aluminium. You immediately notice the quality of the product from it's weight and feel. I use this with a mirrorless camera and it's the perfect size and weight for that. I'm not sure how good it would be for a DSLR which is much bulkier and heavier. Certainly the ball head and fittings could hold the load but I'm not sure about the locking mechanism for the ball head being strong enough. It's not the cheapest mini tripod on the market but for money you pay it's a very good product if you are wanting something very sturdy that will last the test of time. The spirit level and panning markings are all very useful and the camera can be secured in vertical mode as well. It packs up tiny, about 24cm long which makes it perfect for hiking and cycling trips with your camera gear. I was specifically looking for a tripod that's useful on tabletops with a small footprint and also as an ultra portable option when out and about. The legs don't glide super easily although you could probably use a bit of lube to improve that if you wanted. I don't mind the stickiness as it's helpful when trying to set the length of the legs all the same to not have legs sliding in and out of position at will. I puchased this instead of say a GorrillaPod for a couple of reasons. It's going to be used tabletop 90% of the time and at half the price its worth the saving. You also have panning marks, a spirit level and ability to move the camera head into any angle with a ball head.
I used to own a full sized tripod and hardly ever used it. Full sized tripods are an absolute pain to set up, especially in woodland areas where you need a large footprint to set the legs correctly. Even at this tripods max expansion it uses barely more than a sq foot in space. It's also relatively easy to set it up on a log, or rock or park bench owing to this small footprint which is even tinier at lower extensions. Getting the height I need in a studio setting is as easy as placing it on a stool. It's about 1/3 the size and weight of my old aluminium full sized tripod, so the likelihood of me taking this on a bike ride or hike are far higher than a full sized.
No, tripod is ever perfect for everything and if all you do is studio shoot then sure a full sized tripod is the way to go. If you do YouTube Vids walking around parks then sure a GorrillaPod will probably be better. All things considered this is the perfect compromise for what I want to do. The lack of a panning handle is a plus for me as it's less likely to get in the way when the tripod is set up on a desk or when transporting it.

Works, thats all you need.
Does what it says on the box. Removes a shimano freewheel. Fits the socket, no slippage and removes a freewheel easily with a shifting wrench.

Awesome product, shipping is a little slow but not bad, about a fortnight. Can't beat them for the price.
Very nicely finished product, small cages that still hold standard sized bottles so look neat on the bike. Most bottle cages don't come with the screws, you have to buy those separate which makes these very good value. The finish is a matte black that doesn't easily scratch or peel off. Glad I bought these. One of the cheapest bike upgrades you can buy.
