    Lucky Number Slevin DVD
I loved this movie mostly because of the plot twists. For some people it may have come off as being predictable, but even if it did, there is enough going on to keep your interest. The buildup is a little slow, but I enjoyed how human the characters where. They could be real people, rather than just fictious pieces of the writer's imagination. The ending is beautifully performed, and the music pulls you in. There are few musical indications in this film of where the scene is going, which makes the violence seem that much more abrupt. The performances of the main actors were superb. Morgan Freeman has a quality that makes him seem fatherly and kind, even when he's threatening to kill someone slowly and painfully. Bruce Willis is uncharacteristically serious. Lucy Liu is impetuous and charming, while Josh Hartnett is lighthearted with a dark, brooding undercurrent. The supporting characters interactions with Josh Hartnett provide most of the comic relief in the film. The language may bother those with an aversion to swearing. All in all, Lucky Number Slevin is a film worth seeing at least once.
