Katherine M. Rogers captures the true spirit of Baum!
For those of you who are true Baum fans, this is a must read. It explores Baum's world from a variety of perspectives and goes back further than most authors have gone and truly explores areas that we wish we could have asked the author directly if he were still alive. It is accompanied with some lovely images from days gone by which truly ads to the overall feel of the book as your are reading it. But for me, it's always fun to read about this prolific author. If you aren't a collector of Oziana before you read it, you are surely going to become interested after you have completed this lovely book.

Wizard of Oz Toy Theatre by Dick Martin
If you are young at heart or know someone who is, this cut and assemble book is just for you. Not meant for the very young, as you do need to cut out and assemble, but a perfect project for a parent and child to do together to get really involved with Oz. May also encourage people to get into reading the actual books. Albeit out of print, you can usually find one floating around on ebay. If not, just keep looking, one will come up soon.
