Good puzzle game. Uses Wii features
1 of 1 found this helpful I haven't finished the game, but I've finished at least 3 areas (15+ stages).
The game is a mixture of moving the pointer around the scenery, looking for objects to manipulate (usually noticed by a vibration and visual movement). Clicking on objects causes interactions. The interactions often involve moving the wiimote in a number of positions that seem more intuitive than WarioWare Smooth moves (although in one situation, I suffered for a good 5-10 minutes). The game does have a place to practice using items, but it just happens that the one I had difficulty was not listed (ice mirrors).
I've really enjoyed playing this game so far and find it challenging to think of what items I need, where to get them, and in what order to use them.
The only downfall I see is that there is not much replay value once it is finished. I've read that there is a multiplayer mode (more like cooperative with the first player controlling the action), but I'm bound to tell the first player what to do. However, the downfall is minimal based on the price I bought it at. I'm likely to hold onto this game even after I finish it, in hopes that I forget what to do after an extended length of non-play.

Great multiplayer game; good for kids
I love this game, and like how they provided so many characters to choose from. Each character has a set of special powers and a superpower. There is also a second set of inherent skills such as flight, might, imperviousness to cold, etc.
This game is great for multiplayer. It has a top-down view like the old Gauntlet game but of course with better graphics and more 3D. All players can contribute and the health/energy in distributed to the person most in need. This lets everyone work together without bickering over points/credits. People might fight over the special items but there's so many special objects near the start of the middle section that it doesn't matter anymore.
The motion controls are great but even for parents, button mashing is easily acceptable for playing too. If playing solo, the ability to switch among the other three characters provides a player to use someone during mid-play.
Replay-ability is there due to character selection and their powers. Also, the difficulty settings make the hit-points drastically different. Personally, I've wanted to do a speed-run but decided that I need to use my time more wisely.
There are two downsides to the game. One is that both wii-motes and nunchuks are needed to play and therefore can get expensive for 4 players. Another is that certain motion controls are harder to execute than others, but still doable.
Overall, this is a great buy and if your favorite character is in the game, you should definitely get this. I definitely recommend playing with Wolverine and Iron Man.
