Ghost Town Storyteller is let down
not real facts on several places that I know and have done research on. The book is in decent condition I would call it very average nothing great or outstanding.
I would not have purchased this if I had seen and opened it for examination.

This book shows a good example of blind faith and positive thinking that the Nazis would just go away or never gain power. There is a excellent comparison of the world we are in today. The liberal agenda gaining over the conservative principals while our economy, morals, education, plunge and our cities decay. Many of our politicians are on the take,selling their souls and our futures for gain for their selfish selves caring only themselves. Each day more of our jobs disappear to foreign countries. The crime rate increases and our young people have no future. The author explains how the Nazis took over Austria and destroyed any normal life. Jews were not able to work or serve. Forced to wear sleeve bands marking them as Jews they could not walk on both sides of the streets and were forbidden to go to m,any places for medical or dental needs. Food was rationed out, Jewish children were not allowed even milk. Travel was forbidden people were forced out of their homes sent to the ghettos in Poland then to the death camps. How Edith survived by using every ounce of her determination to live is very good reading. The loss of her family and friends was bearable only by her need to stay alive. The average women today would need to be very savvy, well educated, know how and be willing and prepared to do back breaking work hard labor for long hours in cold wet weather on little food. She must never complain and try hard never to draw attention to herself. The pain Edith endured both mental and physical brought her to edge of the breaking point many times. I recommend this book. This story needs to be constantly retold as long as time for every one of the five-plus-million Jews who were suffered beyond human endurance. These Jews did nothing but only to exist and to end up being used as medical experiments or slaves which were to stuff the Nazis' ovens of their own peoples. These ovens burned day and night disposing of the bodies of the Jewish people. It is autobiographies like this that need to ensure that a malignancy like the Nazis should be stopped removed immediately and never allowed to develop again. We in the free world today need to realize it can happen again especially with the the situation of the recent election in the USA where our very Constitution is in danger. Freedom is NOT free it is bought and paid in blood, pain, and sweat and tears. Freedom is the most important thing a human has, it is the difference between living a quality life and existing in a void. Edith's story will never be finished it took her 40 years to open this dark time it was at the insistence of her daughter to tell this and though it reopened deep old wounds she should be rewarded for her efforts well done Edith well done."Shema Yisreal""Adonial eloheynu Adonial echod".
