Helps prevent blisters from forming
These are the best patches I have tried. You have to make sure your lips are very dry before applying or it won't stay on very long. It definitely doesn't last all day for me, as soon as I eat something it starts to come off and looks a lot more obvious. It does help prevent cold sores from becoming blisters if used at the first sign of one, though, and even if people can notice it, it's still better than getting a huge sore.
