great camera - love it
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought this to replace my SX40 HS that I used for many years until it finally died this summer. I finally decided to order this one because I missed my SX40 so much. I know I'm going to like this one just as much. I also have a Canon EOS with lenses but this camera is small enough to carry when I don't want to take the larger, heavier camera with me. It has everything right there and it's ready to go when you cut it on - no having to change lenses. So far it has done exactly what I expected it would do and I like that it has 16.1 Mp which is more than the SX40. The photos are very sharp and clear. The camera is very easy to use. You will need a tripod if you use the extended lens length because it is hard to focus by hand at that length. Not a problem if you are familiar with using a tripod.
