Flyhawk Luchs
This is a very cleanly molded, well engineered kit that fits very well. I t will compliment any armor collection. The detail offered, particularly in this small scale, is outstanding, and, it also has excellent fit. In addition the photo-etched parts are very fine and easy to form and use. There are quite a few parts, however, the fit is really good, and the parts go together with no fuss at all. I really enjoyed building and painting this kit. I think Flyhawk have shown what can be achieved in 1/72 armor kits, and this kit offers a lot of bang for the buck.

Shin Godzilla
This is a very entertaining movie. The special effects are amazing. Whoever the CG guys are, they really earned their paychecks on this one. Also, it was really cool to see the latest Japanese military hardware battling Godzilla. Of course, they were overmatched as usual, but, the action scenes were fantastic. In addition, the story and characters were very good. As the movie goes on, Godzilla evolves as he spends more time on land. The creature that you first see is nothing at all as he becomes later. This may be the best Godzilla film ever done.

RS Me-109 X
This is a well molded kit which fits well and presents no real problems during assembly. In addition, the assembly is not complicated. I feel it would be better if the engine cowling were molded in one piece, but as it is, the parts fit well and smoothing the seam is not at all difficult. The kit also goes together quickly with intermittent breaks to paint a few sub assemblies. All in all, like most RS kits, this one is of an esoteric aircraft which would probably not be kitted by any of the major manufacturers. However, the quality of the moldings, the execution of the engraved panel lines, and other details are first rate. The decals are also well printed with good register and are easy to apply. This kit builds into a great replica without the builder having to do anything too special.
