Before the Mushroom Kingdom, there was the original arcade classic!
The original arcade classic!! Before Mario and Luigi made their names saving the Mushroom Kingdom, they were simply plumbers in the sewers of New York. Avoid baddies and obstacles to get the high score. Worth noting is the very entertaining multiplayer mode, in which two friends can work together to conquer the sewers, or actively attempt to take each other out as they vie for the high score!

A great game!
Blast through alien hordes, collect new weapons, and fire in any direction you choose in this thrilling sidescrolling shooter. It will take all of your might to withstand the battles and complete this classic unless of course you are familiar with the famous Konami code. Worth nothing is the simultaneous multiplayer mode!

Ferociously hard, but hilariously fun.
In an era that was enamored with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Tradewest's Battletoads turned out to be a game with perfect timing. Easily one of the best examples of how to rip-off a more popular license only to exceed the original inspiration in terms of quality, Battletoads is still considered by many to be one of the best side-scrolling beat 'em up actioners of all time. As not only were the graphics amazing and the challenges high, but the game had plenty of personality too. Though it spawned a Game Boy port and three sequels for the NES and SNES systems, none of them ever approached mindless perfection as closely as this Rare-developed original.
