An excellent insight...
I cannot say enough about this book. Not only is Dyer an excellent researcher and writer, but the flow of this book is superb. If you like pool, this gives the reader great insight to both of these iconic players. While talking about their vast differences, it also talks about the great deal they had in common. In reading this, the scoundrel Wanderone becomes a lot more likable, and the the flaws in the impeccable Mosconi glare through. For the reader that has little to no interest in the game, this book provides great insights to the workings of the human mind. One learns what created these two different personalities. The closest comparison I can come up with is that Dyer is very Hitchcockian in his treatment of the material. The story unfolds like a movie simultaneously paralleling the two while using their differences to keep the tempo exciting. I have read about both of these players before, and thought I knew a little about them. Through reading this, I have discovered the men behind the personalities, and two different stories of survival and success despite the odds.

Good book for what it is
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a good book for what it is. If you bought this, you are obviously not looking for prized literature or even a revolutionary new work out. What you get is Charles Bronson's quirky humor and a workout routine that is 1/2 what you'd expect and 1/2 what you wouldn't. I can't complain about this book. I was looking for a new idea of how to do some basic exercises in a way to get thoroughly fit and this really covers it. It is a do-able routine and broken down to what to do each day for a month to build up your strength.

One of the best
If you like Johnny Cash, then you have to have this CD. It has a unique sound having been recorded in Folsom. In addition, this is one of his best live performances. The CD is loaded with great tracks. You can't go wrong with this one.
