Bottom line, rent it once and never look back. Disapointing. Lame.
I would clasify this as a cult favorite under the 'Python" genre. It's not good and it's not bad. It's worth renting, once and that's it. I made the mistake of buying it. I wouldn't again. It is lame and has a very strange theme. Hard to follow and harder yet to enjoy. Even for British taste. The acompanying disc on the making of the film is equally lame.If your looking for a good hunorous flic this isn't it.

A great movie. A classic of it's own kind. Worth renting.
As to the anniversary edition, whoopee, wow and hurray. That's it , thats all you get. Same movie, same everything. Now as to the flic itself, it is still great. It is still the leader in it's own field. Good to watch rarely, but ocasionally. So if you buy it, it will collect dust. Suggest renting when your bored. You'll still be bored, but will have enjoyed the time wasted. Don't compare FX to todays standards as you will be disapointed. But great for the time. All inall a great movie.

If your curious, rent it. If not don't bother.
Well as can be expected the sequel is about worthless. The plot in nearly identical and they don't even make an effort to make it more exciting. The horror in this episode is also without merit. Watch the first and be done. The actresses in this the fem version are about par for the rating as well. I actuall find nothing redeeming about this failure to entertain. It is far worse than the original.
