Looks amazing, tuned for all types of music, needs a 1000w amp. Awesome!
1 of 1 found this helpful I wanted the P2-2X12's in a rockford enclosure to swap out my sealed P2-2X10's. When first getting this quality product out of the box my thoughts were. "man this enclosure is sexy." Rockford did a solid job on the look of this loaded enclosure. I was puzzled by the single terminal but figured it out quickly and without hassle. When I plugged it into my Rockford P500 Mono amplifier (underpowered I know) and played around with passovers, I started listening to it at low levels and boy does it rumble. Great mids for 12's actually, box is tuned somewhat high probably around 40hz (couldn't calculate it exactly) which means lows are audible but not booming. Rock sounds very smooth and not muffled. House, techno, dubstep is AWESOME on this system, perfect punchiness to it. Rap is solid all the way around, although if you're looking to hit the 32hz frequencies "booming" this enclosure isn't quite right.
The sound of these subs is basically like my sealed P2 10's but just much louder and the sub doesn't need to move near as much to play low frequencies (less distortion). I expected a totally different sound with the port but, it's similar which is great because ported usually means less sound quality.
Overall, this whole product is awesome, looks great, clear, loud and affordable. The only issue I have is how high the box is tuned. Recommended for people who listen to a variety of music.
