The Vampire Chronicles
Anne Rice has provided her fans/readers with an interesting look at the life of a vampire named Lestat. IN each of the stories above, Lestat is viewed as the strong, "vampire brat" of all the vampires. In Queen of the Damned, Akasha, Queen of the Dead, is brought back to life by rebel Lestat and she begins to destroy all of her own kind. This book is fabulous and it is hard to put down once you begin reading it. Interview with the Vampire is another book where Louis tells the story of how Lestat, a.k.a. the brat prince brings him into the vampire world. Basically, this is a story of Louis' upbringing into the new world and their child, Claudia who becomes Louis new daughter in the story. This is a thrilling story. Suspenseful and shocking. The Vampire Lestat touches on the life and creation of Lestat. THe three chronicles should leave you, as Claudia says in the movie "INterview with the Vampire", "wanting more...."

The Vampire Lestat
It is rare to find this book at such a low price. I was very fortunate to find a hardcover version of a 1st Edition of this book. Anne Rice is my favorite author and I collect her books. I like the fact that many of her books have been and are available on ebay so that I may add to my collection.
