Why Seagate is better than Western Digital Hands Down!
1 of 1 found this helpful I own a Western Digital 2TB USB 3.0 HDD external drive. I received a popup to download the latest version of Western Digital's Smartware. It installed a program onto my Western Digital drive that would not allow me to access my own external HDD at all. All attempts to remove the Western Digital Unlocker PARTITION failed and I finally had no way to use my Western Digital external HDD at all! I finally gave up and ordered a new Seagate 2TB external USB 3.0 HDD, and so far, nothing strange has happened at all. I am very upset when I look at my Western Digital external HDD and realize IT'S DEAD! Thank you Seagate! I almost lost some very important artistic creation files... need I say more! Thanks Western Digital for proving Seagate is currently the better drive. Amen
