The old remote (3 years old) fell apart and needed replacement.
After 3 years the old one fell apart. Literally all the screw connections let go because the plastic dried out and the studs which hold the screws cracked and the case fell apart. I hope the new one lasts longer than the first. The remote works well you can put the pool cleaner anywhere in the pool using the remote.
