Very satisfying workout
This DVD is a great workout. I do it without the bands and it still wears me out (I'm in average shape.) There is some emphasis on muscle toning over cardio, though, so if you do it without the bands than you need to bounce around or move a little more so your heart rate doesn't go down. Overall, it's a fast paced workout and fun!

A good effort
1 of 1 found this helpful I decided to buy this album when it was voted Album of the Year for 2006 by CCM Magazine. It is my second Jars of Clay album, but since the first was Redemption Songs (which was a bunch of old hymns remade), this was my first experience with Jars' own material.
I like the album overall. I prefer the songs that have straightforward lyrics. Some of them are a little too strange for me. For example, exactly WHAT is he singing about on "Oh My God"? I guess he's trying to be poetic, but the meaning is too obscured for me. It sounds beautiful, but what does it mean?
Anyways, Dead Man is an excellent song, as is Work and There is a River.
Overall, I would recommend the album, I just wouldn't label it "Album of the Year" or anything vaulted like that.

A Mediocre Intro to Spanish Food
0 of 1 found this helpful I'm glad I did not pay much money for this book as it has not been very helpful so far. First of all, it is completely devoid of pictures of the recipes. There are lots of photos; however, they are all of people eating in restaurants, or of colorful spanish tiles, or whatever; none of the food, though. Also, lots of the ingredients are just too expensive for me to purchase; if you are trying to cook ethnic on a budget, this is not the book for you. However, some of the recipes do look worth a try. I wouldn't really recommend anyone else bother buying this book.
