Excellent book
3 of 3 found this helpful This historical novel by Dennis Lehane is very good. It moves very rapidly and is hard to put down once you start reading. A great look at an interesting period of Boston and American history. Story telling at its very best. Far better than most books written about the beginning of the 20th Century in NE. I would recommend this for anyone.

Have read many other books by the same author and he always tells a good tale. Not too much violence, not too much sex but some of each.

The Quickie
Did not care for this book. It was not very interesting and the plot overly simple. Not a typical James Patterson effort and his being the author was the reason I purchased the DVD.
