Great 1st sewing machine.
2 of 2 found this helpful Perfect for a novice like myself, but it is not a toy, and that's a good. Does pretty much every thing I need it to do, from making and repairing backpacking gear, making curtains, hemming clothing, etc.
For a serious seamstress, you'll want a better machine, that has all the bells and whistles, but this machine is a great way to introduce the novice to sewing. Plenty of stitch options and easy to use. You will spend more time sewing and less time fiddling with gadgets. Simple, efficient, and affordable.
