Android has come a LONG way!
4 of 4 found this helpful I'm totally an iPhone guy. I've had most of them since the first one in 2007. But being forced to update to iOS 10 and the inevitable slowdown that always seems to come with iOS updates was the last straw. So I've decided to try Android again. I've tried Androids a few times over the years and was always disappointed. The OS and hardware have really matured since the last time I tried using one. I wanted to dip my toes into a pure Android experience, without committing a large sum of money into brand new hardware, so a Nexus device was the obvious choice.
This phone has already way exceeded my expectations! Its not top-of-the-line hardware, but it's running Android 7.0, so it's got all of the latest and greatest of Google on it. I HIGHLY recommend this phone to anyone looking to try Android on a budget. You'd never know that this phone is over a year old already. There are a couple things that could be better on this hardware. The audio quality isn't all that great. Its not nearly as bad as some reviews would lead you to believe. But it could be better for sure. The volume and power buttons could be a little more clicky, but they seem to work just fine. Other than that, I really can't say anything bad about this phone.
