Tactics are key to your advancement in this game.
Just a quick review. I have this game on my vita and if you enjoy hard as hell turned based strategic rpg game play, then look no further as this game takes it to a new level. Watch a video as this will best describe how the combat system works, every member you have can be linked to each other and build a huge combo type of attack. There isn't any eye candy attack animations, instead you'll find a linking system with arrows and lines branching off each character in your team, depending on placement. A true guardian type system is also here, you can place your tanks in front of your healer or weaker party members and if you do your placement correctly, they will not take the damage and your tank will intercept it. I really did enjoy the combat system in this game, its like nothing else I've played before. Well worth a purchase if your after a game that turns up the difficultly and doesn't hold your hand. Check it out.

Absolutely fantastic series, not my favorite but still very close.
To the other reviewer who is having issues playing this game. If you want help get in touch with me on ebay or Steam (search users and look for DeeZaster76). I'll give you a hand in getting it to run as I have it running perfectly on XP, Vista, Windows 7 (back then) and now on Windows 10. I skipped Windows 8 as I didn't want a tablet for my os (hehe).
Anyways back to the review. I've finished all games except this one in the series and I NEVER use a cheat guide so it takes me quite a long time to finish these as some of the puzzles are just killer. I'm about halfway into Myst V which I started a couple years ago but I've had so many other games that I tend to play Myst V till I'm stuck for awhile, then play something else for awhile until an idea hits me.
This game is very much a merge of the first four Myst games and URU as you can walk around in full 3D mode. Graphics are stunning, puzzles are not to hard, but do get difficult half way in. If you're a Myst fan this is an absolute must play and collect title.
