Unique lens in the medium format digital back world! Wonderful!
1 of 1 found this helpful I had to learn the hard way that a lens this long requires a heavier tripod. Fortunately I have one, I just didn't want to bring it along if I didn't have to. Well, it comes with me now.
The lens gives a spectacular perspective and because of the Fuji camera's swings, tilts, shifts, rises and falls, it gives me a chance to create pretty unique images.
It is very touchy to attach to the camera. Be VERY careful to make sure it is attached at the bottom.

Zeiss Sonnar 150mm f4 lens
The old silver Hasselblad lenses are a bargain. My lens is very sharp and has a focus range that is close to macro. On a Canon 7D it is like a 240mm lens. I've had a lot of fun with it already.

An elegant bargain
Mamiya got it right with their 150mm f2.8 lenses, especially the later ones with the ELD glass. This lens is not autofocus, it must be stopped down manually to your desired f stop, but it cost a tenth of the newer AF model. A tenth!
